Ohio employers can benefit by training employees
Employers in Ohio can take advantage of a new program to provide basic computing knowledge to their employees - with a provable, standardized outcome. No more guesswork about whether that seminar actually did any good for the employees who attend.

Hiring candidates with ICDL can be a plus for employers
Employers have a new option for evaluating computer skill and capability. Ohio's Smart Computing program has provided statewide access to the International Computer Driving License for everyone in the state. Finding ICDL mentioned on a candidate's resume makes a strong statement about that person's training and skill.

Education - May be the new "edge" for many computer users
